Workshops on Understanding and Treating Self-Harming Behaviours
May 11, 2018 at 10:37 AM
This practical workshop will challenge some of the participants’ concepts about self-injurers, and examine traditional treatment methods and counter-transference reactions. It will present new, easy to use therapeutic strategies, and treatment models, including the Impulse Control Log.
These workshops are designed for a wide audience and will appeal to anyone working with young people on a regular basis including clinicians, educators, medical and criminal justice professionals, school counsellors, social and youth workers, and concerned individuals.
Auckland – Wednesday 20 June, Potters Park Events Centre, Balmoral.
Workshops run 9.00am - 3.30pm.
