The Babies Out West brochure provides information about services from pregnancy and childbirth to counselling and parenting education available in West Auckland. Brochures are distributed through Waitakere Hospital maternity, midwives, and Plunket, and also available at all health and social service organisations in the West and CABs, Libraries, GPs, kindergartens, day cares etc.

2019 Brochure:

• 4^th Reprint of 15,000 brochures, last reprint was 2016
• A long standing member of WHL donated $1000 towards the production of the brochure
• Consulted consumers, community and independent midwives for input and feedback on the brochure
• Responded to feedback to include a teens and dads section
• Included new information on Support in Pregnancy and Birth and New Baby
• Sections include:
  • Pregnancy and Birth
  • Support in Pregnancy
  • New Baby
  • Parenting Education
  • Support for Teens
  • Support for Dads
  • Support for Mums
  • Support and Advice for Families
  • General Health Services
