Report cards Auckland Council
February 12, 2014 at 2:42 PM
if you are keen to track how the Auckland Council is faring on its business to monitor our air, marine, terrestrial and freshwater systems, as well as on the demographics and quality of life, check out this link.
Happy to see Cascades Stream (Falls Road) and Opanuku (Candia Road) stream in the Waitakere Ranges are ranked 2nd and 3rd in the top 5 (out of 34) monitored sites.
And more..... Marawhara Stream (North Piha Road) is 4th in the top 5 (out of 95) freshwater ecology monitored sites
Useful information here to make your submissions to the Auckland Plan 2014-2015 now under public consultations, and also in conversations with your local boards in West Auckland, which are also happening now!!
