New Zealand Fashion Designer Annah Stretton launches her new support programme RAW or Reclaiming Another Woman. The disturbing family violence and child violence and poverty statistics supports her project.
The service will have a woman work alongside a woman who has come out of a refuge and mentor her into a different or bew way of doing things. this may prevent women from returning to the same old and only situation they know, which often lands them back in the refuge.
The programme is being pilote in Waikato. Interested RAW supportees can contact rebecca@raw.org.nz
