Free educational “Know Your Rights” series

The Auckland Community Law Centre is pleased to announce that we will be conducting a free educational “Know Your Rights” series. The series will benefit people who desire a better understanding of their legal rights. Please feel free to post the attached flyers on your community notice board. These informative sessions will be held weekly on Tuesdays at Glenfield Community Centre, 411 Glenfield Road, Glenfield, Auckland (entry from Bentley Avenue) from 9:30 – 11:30 am.
Tuesday, 5 June 201: FAMILY LAW: Guardianship; Care of children arrangements; Domestic violence.
Tuesday, 12 June 2018: TENANCY LAW: Rights and obligations of tenants and landlords; Flatmate relationships; Conflict resolution and enforcement.
Tuesday, 19 June 2018: DISPUTES TRIBUNAL: Overview of the Disputes Tribunal; How the Tribunal operates; Your rights at a hearing; How to file in the Disputes Tribunal.
Tuesday, 26 June 2018: SEX AND CONSENT: Overview of laws in relation to sex and sexual violence; The law relating to sexual consent; Legal ages in relation to sex and access to sexual health.
Weekly on Thursdays at the Tasman Building, Level 2, 16-22 Anzac Avenue, Auckland Central from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm:
